Hi members
My IB medical was put back until July of 2011,I will be 62 then,I difficulty walking, and restricted movement in my right arm, I have been told that because I have movement in my left arm, I could be put on to this other benefit, could this be right. Treanor

Hi Treanor,

My apologies this post wasn't answered sooner.

By 2011 all medicals will be for ESA rather than incapacity benefit.

However, claimants who reach pensionable age before the end of March 2014 will not be migrated to ESA, they will stay on their current benefits.
