Hi Marshal
I am shocked by what has happened to you, can I ask you how you found out about the surveillance please.

the easy way to find out what they can do, is search google and see what you can hire one to do
www.dcinvestigators.co.uk/
this company says find a person in 24 hours for £150
also says
A private investigator and private detective can carry out long-term covert observation of a person suspected of raud. If an private investigator observes the person performing an activity that contradicts claims that a individual as made in a compensation claim, the investigator can take video evidence or photographs to document / record ll the activity and provide a detailed report it to the client etc

I can think of a few parents who would pay millions to get a service like that.
I think companies offering this service should be a bit more sensitive to recent events over the last few years.

Anymore info on this yet?
Who was it, how did you find out?
Is it DWP related at all?
I don't think agreeing to be spied on in your own house should be a requisite to benefit payment.

Over the weekend I i noticed the beginning of Directed Surveillance. I was contacted on a dating app and the conversation quickly started including questions like Do you like to cook? What have you eaten today? Do you live by yourself? What hobbies do you have?
Is there anything I can do about this - apart from not talking to strangers.
Is there anywhere or anyone I can apply to to get details of the Request and Permission needed for the surveillance?
Thanks Ed

Have you considered that these were just the questions that someone might ask on a dating app to get to know the other person better?
