Thanks all

I have got my AFPS75 Preserved pension paid early
A nice lump sum and £30 a week tax free :)

Copy of wording of letter as follows

"I can confirm that you where awarded a deferred pension your subsequently claimed early payment of your pension on grounds of Permanent Incapacity.

After investigation you were awarded early payment of pension.

In order to receive a preserved pension early, stringent criteria must be met including medical evidence which supports the claimant is permanently incapable of working"

The above letter imo is like gold dust when Atos come knocking on my door for Incapacity to ESA migration

In fact i may stick it on my forehead during there visit :P

well done glad your sorted

Never had a medical they just wrote to my doctor,i handed him over the letter and he went mad at the fact they wouldnt pay him to fill in.

Saying "how the hell am i supposed to fill out all your medical problems in a tiny box, there is so much info i wouldnt even do this for my wife"
i asked for a photocopy of the document :) and he quickly filled in the tick boxes in front of me,

Then a lady in the back spent 3 hours photocopying my entire medical history

My Ace Card is i have a Very Very good doctor who has known me for 18 years :)

Agreed War pension,ALSO,Early Preserved Pension are in my experience much harder to receive as its the MOD,s pockets which has much has much tighter strings.

Just wish they would hurry up with the ESA medical
i thought we would be first in the queue ie time length on incapacity?

Regards nick

Just to let you know under the OLD IB rules Unsupp with a War Pension was NOT enough to get you exempt the IB50 and medical under them rules you had to have Unsupp and War Pension at the 80% rate I was not exempt for about 15 years of the time I have had IB they just never bothered me :) I have now become exempt under IB rules and even though I know there will soon be a move I made a point of getting my IB paperwork up to date and they wrote back saying I am now exempt IB50s and medicals ... I am 99% certain I will just get put in supprt group :silly: but if not will just fight them :)
