CA vs. SDP and FT student was created by nonsmoker2008
its confusing, and from what i can tell, extremely unfair!

as i get HRM and HRC i should be entitled to SDP but i'm not as my daughter goes to a semi local university and travels every day.

neither can she get carers allowance as, although her surpervised study is less than 21 hours per week, the uni class it as a full time course - which technically it is

seems very unfair that we can't get one or the other :(

it appears there is no way round it

you can't claim carers as her hours apparently mean she can't be a carer too

you can't say she's not got the time to be a carer as a different department deems she does

totally unfair
