Highest rate Mobility No care awarded was created by midnighter
Ny son has just been awarded the above. He suffers from HNPP which is a paralysis/pain neurological issue.I intend to appeal the care as I find it amazing that his mobility needs can be acknowledged but not the incumbent care issues that arise from that..I know the consultant noted that he slept well at nights but not the parts when he doesnt sleep. It would appear the DLA have jumped the gun.Anyone got anyadvice/case law to use?
Thanks
Incidentally was talking to Consultant's Secretary who said DLA have them up the metaphorical wall at the moment witrh requests.

Hi

You can find guides to DLA claims and appeals as well as case law in the members' area (click on 'Help for claimants' on the left-hand sidebar).

I should warn you that appealing for Care Rate may put his HMR at risk. Therefore you may want to seek face-to-face advice to assess the risk and likelihood of getting Care.

Good luck

Derek
