My brother is on IB and gets a top up of pension credit. He is ill with his nerves and stresses badly on just about anything. He gets Pension Credit (he is 61 yrs old btw), he is having panic attacks (literally) about the prospect of being hauled in for ESA assessment, but I was wondering if, and when, it comes to that,can he go onto Pension Credit full stop and come off IB? With his heart problems and his liver/pancreas problems there is no way he could possibly work but the stress of worrying about the possible ESA assessment is already finishing him off. I would like to give him some reassurance, thanks in advance for your help.
