Hi Nicky,

An error as basic as the wrong condition does matter yes, and you should address it. But bear in mind that the DWP are likely to argue that it's the way that your condition affects, you rather than the diagnosis, that matters.

If you have brief information about your condition you can supply as part of your written evidence, that might be helpful.

Good luck,

Steve

Mine had me suffering from MS rather than ME/CFS, the liklihood is you did not suffer a disadvantage as the HCP was probably not qualified to assess you for RA let alone PRA

You should certainly draw the Tribunals attention to the discrepancy in your appeal submission, but you would be better served concentrating on how the PRA affects you. It would probably help including a symptomology for PRA if it is often confused with RA and has difference affects.

:) You should of course tell them, but paliindromic is sudden onset of pain and can go as fast too its unpredictable as to when it will happen or how long it lasts

I know which I would rather have on the paperwork ;)

all it means is yours is erratic and unpredictable

they have a web site www.palindromicrheumatism.org/

do you get DLA ? IMO that word in front of your problem could make getting dla harder due to the fact some people with it have large gaps between problems and flare ups many of course dont, but they like to tar all with the same brush
