Phone the center before you leave to see if they are running late. I was truned away 2 times becouse they has 'run out of time to see me'!!!

If you have childcare issues during your assessment the center may turn you away and rebook your appintment if you like it or not. I again would ring and check to see what they will do if you all turn up. They may be able to rebook you quickly so it should not delay the outcome too long for you as Im sure you want it asap with your tribunal.

I wish you the best of luck.

I went there by taxi with my son and my husband. I asked my husband to help me to report to the reception and fill the form for me ,then I just sign. then we just waiting there for nearly 20 minutes (quite long)which was quite long to sit there.I was really got flue and cough often and headach and feel tired and just close my eyes to wait there.
Till the nurse called my name, my husband and my son and me come in the room together. she said the kid can't come in. Then I said we can't let him alone outside and he must be monitored. Then I have to be alone in that room. Since I'm Chinese , when I fill the ESA questionnarie ,I wrote there, normally my English is no problem, but due to my mental health situation , If you could offer an interpritor,it would be better.
But they don't have an interpritor for me.The nurse said we try without interpritor, if we met problem to understand each other, then I could stop to book interpritor for me for next interview.I said Ok, alright.
Then she started , she said I heard from you GP that you are work related stress caused depression. When this problem started ? I said actually the problem started from Middle Nov.2009 , But I continue sick off from work since June last year. Then she asked did you begin your anti- depression mediciation Nov.2009? I said I have medication in December 2009 and had two weeks off from work. but I forgot what whether it already begin anti-depression mediciation in Nov.2009.--I forgot what tablets I took in 2009 which is more than one year ago. Then she asked what anti-depression tablets you took now?

I brought lots of tablets to show to her, some are only empty boxes without any tablets, I show her two anti-depression tablets:flucloxacillin , citalopram .She said No, this Flucloxacillin isn't anti-depression. I said yes, the GP told me so. Then she said No.that is defintely not anti-depression. then I said,OK, maybe I'm confused with so many tablets.
Actually I do confused this flucloxacillin with that Fluoxetine which is real anti-depression.
Then she said you are mass now,you need an interpritor.

OK, Then I have to come here again once more ?

she said yes, because we can't even allow 10% misunderstood each other ....

all right ,I think I show her immpression of mass and confused with tablets ----maybe that isn't too bad,do you think so?

after we bood bye, I thought it took time to call a taxi and wait...rather we just walked outside to wait the bus.

but when we were still waiting the bus, the nurse has finished her job and alsowalked and pass there, so I met her once more.

Yes, you are right, they do let me re-book again. I do have tribunal issue ,since my depression is work related, I need this as evidence to show to tribunal that my employer caused me sick and depression. (I used to no any sick leave days for two-three years during my employment period). my solicitor used to ask for private medical assessment for me, my employer refused this.My employer wishes to get rid of me .redundancy/consultation is still ongoing.(I'm still employed but they stopped totally my payment).
