This is an important point as from legal standpoint, many "conversations" have no standing.

Might seem like a good idea to cut the work and timescales, but I see this actually leading to confusion, delays and ultimately challenges.

I am 99% sure :) I have seen on DWP web site and disability alliance talk of the fact that apart from writing to people the DWP will be calling people durring the move to make sure it runs smooth :laugh: (sorry should not laugh)

So with caller ID wonder what will happen if no one answers withheld numbers or those they don't recognise?

They'll have no joy phoning me if I'm experiencing an episode of total paralysis and can't even pick the phone up.
