Thanks for your reply. Although my disabilities have got worse not better and i have picked up a few unwanted problems on the way, i would fight tooth and nail to remain in the support group as i am in no position to work.

Secondly, all these disabled people they are saying are "fit for work" these people find a job as they have no option and their condition becomes worse because of working. Or worse still someone dies because they are being forced into work when they quite clearly are not fit to work!! Who would be liable? Would this be Atos, DWP or the government!!! I know i am looking on the black side, but this could be reality!!!

Very concerned
Mm :) xx

atos nor the dwp would not be liable as they are all working for the Iain Duncan Smith he is the minister in charge at the DWP and the buck stops with him DM make decsions based on info from atos but the DM makes the decsion, the fact they seem to favor there input from atos means nothing

all atos do is right bad reports IMO of course

I'm pretty sure that a Jobseeker's Agreement would indemnify the Government from any claim. :(

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

it might on paper but if taken to the court of appeal they would have to show it was fair the crown court and even the high court might say there was a fair contract but if someone was killed or made worse then someones failed even if they have to be done under health and safety

in fact I think it happened under YTS and YOP :)

Okay, thanks for that, I will pass that on to Rachel's family. Losing someone is hard at any point. As I said (but not too clearly) Rach was only 43 and she and I were friends through thick and thin, having become especially close the last couple of years due to both having serious conditions and taking some serious meds. for them. We were med.buddies; we were also Benefit buddies. Swapping tales of what worked and what didn't. I will miss her for the rest of my life and have HUGE anger of how she was treated, especially her not getting any ESA help.

Thanks again,
