DLA applications was created by mewilkinson
Just wondered how long it normally takes to hear back after a DLA application has been submitted? This is my first application and I submitted it 6 weeks ago. All I have heard from them so far was a letter received in week one to say they had contacted my GP for more information (which he has supplied). It just seems odd, given that I had only just had my ATOS medical for ESA two weeks prior to completing my DLA app, the result being that I was placed in the Support Group (Cauda Equina Syndrome and Ankylosing Spondylitis).

I can't answer your question but just wanted to wish you good luck with your application. I have just tonight completed my form, I have similar to yourself Ankylosing, Cauda equina, tendonitis= Asthma, so wish to know how long it take too.
