How will this work was created by jasmine
So it begins, or rather it did a month ago. Next week 7000 cases will this be among all the assessment centres in the uk, when could exempt pca people be called up because there are a lot I know on income support. Everyone is talking about IB claimaints, isn't it everyone on all disability IB,IS etc? Do I put down on form when I get it that I have been an inpatient on a mental health unit? Mind you, anyone with any illness will be found fit for work won't they :(

All claimants are to be migrated and reassessed for ESA, whether they receive IB or IS on the grounds of disability.

There is nothing definitive about when current PCA exempt claimants will be transferred to ESA. There was a rumour that this group would be the first to be migrated, but as with everything else associated with ESA, communications from the DWP regarding migration are about as clear as mud.

When you receive an ESA50, there would be absolutely no harm whatsoever stating on the form that you have been a psychiatric hospital inpatient. Indeed, the more information you can include on the ESA50 pertinent to your health condition, all the better.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
