esa support group was created by edward
i had a brain haemorrhage a few years ago which was an anuerysm which burst,
at the time i had surgery to have it coiled.

my question is i was recently told i would need more surgery which i feel quite nervous about due to the risks involved,i am currently on incapacity benefit and i'm exempt from the from the pca test, when i am transfered to esa will i be put in the support group and do i have to have the surgery to qualify?

The risks as you know are high for what you talk of having had done, are they repeating ? on eas there seems to be a very short lists of what gets you in to support group but one would think that till surgery is done and you have recovered support would be right for you... that said the dwp DM are ***** :)

To be placed in the Support Group you will need to meet one or more of the criteria, these are listed on page 25 of the Understanding ESA guide in the Members area.

You are entitled to reasonably refuse treatment, so whether you have the surgery or not, should be be a factor.
