I wonder if you could help me with a query regarding attending college while in the WRAG group? I have seen a course I would be interested in taking. I have already spoken to them and they would be willing to make allowances for the days I was unwell or too ill to travel (i.e they would give me 'homework' to do that I could at my own pace). It is a 3 year course (yes, I know it's committing myself to a lot) but at the end of it I would have a BTEC diploma which would be very useful if my health had improved enough to be self employed. It's totally different to getting employment as they would be more understanding about any absences etc. It's just a thought I was toying with.
Many thanks

You can study whilst claiming ESA, but you must notify the DWP. Do bear in mind that they may wish to reconsider your ESA if they think that the studying you do indicates that you no longer meet the criteria for ESA. This might particularly be the case if you do work placements.

Skill has a guide to this.
