Surely under the DDA this discriminates so here we have a private body put in place by the government and they discriminate by not ensuring that there centres conform to the disabled/wheelchair bound

One word Disgraceful

I have emailed my MP and two that are NOT mine. Please could other people email their MP's with this information?

And particularly, Kate Green as she is on the Welfare Reform committee.

Many thanks,
Rachel :)

Those buildings do not comply with Disability Discrimination Act access criteria. They would not pass a DDA audit.

I was a bit gobsmacked by the lack of wheelchair access. I am lucky I don't have one but for all those out there that do its a blooming disgrace.

Do they think they can discount you if you don't make it up the stairs to them. I can see it now. Mr Smith never made it up the stairs.. get the declined stamp out!

More importantly this serves to illustrate the complete contempt Chris Grayling and ATOS have for the disabled. More significantly for the bulk of the population, they appear to hold the law in equal contempt. Surely some kind of prosecution is appropriate here? Any idea of how we can push for that?

Just received this email from, I presume, Kate Green MP;

i did not know! what's the source of the information? has it been raised with ministers?

It was from her office anyway. I have replied with the link to the assessment centres.
