Ok , will do. Thank you. I am really worried now, I do hope I don't have to go backwards if you know what I mean. Do you think the report will at least still be held on file the ATOS end or do you think they will have to do it all over again?

I'm afraid we don't know what ATOS's procedures are for holding and transferring reports to the DWP.

Hi all, rang DWP today and was told of decision. It was by the way strange in that it took from the 12th to the 26th for the paper based report to get from ATOS to DWP but then only a day for the DWP to make the decision. They sent the award decision out on the 27th. I thought you may be interested in the unusual time scale. Anyway I was told on the phone to the DWP of the details in the letter which is on its way in the post that I got 13 points for daily living and hence the enhanced rate, but only 4 points for mobility so no award for mobility. Not sure I want to risk reconsideration in case my daily living award changes, only just in the enhanced with 13 points. But wanted to say thank you for your site, it has been so helpful especially as, ironically considering I did not succeed with mobility, that I am unable to travel anywhere to get good advice re PIP!!!

HI, I have requested the assessors report, should I be asking for a DM report or is there no such thing? Also I am wondering about reconsideration due to not being given the mobility at all, I sent evidence from my GP and psychiatrist, both put that I could not use public transport due to severe contamination phobia and panic attacks and I wrote about it (including taxis), does this not count. I see that guidance refers to the fact that cognitive problems preventing someone following a journey on public transport counts. Does significant anxiety and panic attacks not count, surely it is obvious that cognitive function would be affected when having panic attacks. Or do you have to have intellect problems to tick the' not being able to follow a journey ' ( on public transport) box?
