Hi there,
the other day I received a letter from the council it says from the 19th September 2016 I have been awarded PIP daily living & PIP mobility has been awarded too.

I received a similar one a few days later from DWP esa which says due to a change in circumstances from
8th September 2016 as this doesn't affect my Esa claim I will still receive £114 a week
Phoned DWP to ask the rates they informed me it's not been decided yet so I'm confused is this normal? to let other parts of the government know an award has been made is there a 4 was rule on.deciding a claim.

Many Thanks Cx

We have seen this before, the call centre staff only have access to the information on the computer system, it can often take some time for a Decision to entered on this, but the processes associated with a Decision being made, such as notifying other departments, are not dependant on this being done and are often completed before it appears on the computer.

If you have not had a Decision Letter by the end of next week then I would chase them again.

I'll hold off offering congratulations until you see what the award is, but I think you can assume that one has been made.

Sorry I have posted this again as I didn't think this had been sent.

My husband is on the telephone to them now, Speaking on my behalf he said I have standard daily living care and high mobility so I get to keep my car 3 year award. I'm chuffed to bits!

I'm still confused the award ends July 2019
But my claim won't kick in until the 19th September.
as I'm dvla - Pip, I won't receive any back pay for (care) as the daily living won't apply until the 19th September 2016 My husband won't be able to claim carers allowance until after that date too
My esa claim has been 6 months without an assessment so still in hardship.

Congratulations on the award.

I'm afraid PIP claims are not backdated if the claimants was receiving DLA.

Your husband should be able to make the claim for CA early, but payments cannot be made prior to the date that the PIP Daily Living award starts.

Hi there,
I'm still waiting for a Ftf, Esa claim
I have sent further medical information from my rheumy which states I'm house bound and more recently bed bound due to multiple mechanical joint pain, shoulder impingement, bilateral epicondylitis. Poor grip bilateral, I have troncheratic bursitis with ganglia appearing in my wrists and feet I cannot straight leg bilaterally. I have no sinivois fluid in all my joints and gave severe muscle weakness. What evidence do they need to say I cannot work?
basically my rheumy is the top man a professor, who supports arthritis, he said I'm to do the exercises he prescibed at home as my muscles are far too week for a full physio programme, and to wait a year doing the exercise at home. Is there anyway
As you know I gave been given a three year award for pip standard daily living enhanced mobility. Isn't there a letter I can send as I'm getting nowhere on the phone.
we haven't had a penny other that £114.85 a week for nearly seven months we have a mortgage I'm helpless

Many Thanks Cx
