Buried Alive - The PIP Sequel!

Hello. I just want to say a massive heartfelt thank you to the Mods without whose help and advice I could not have survived what turned out to be around ten/eleven unnecessary 'hard slog' months in all, both benefits included. Also a huge thank you to all the other members who offered their encouragement to carry on the fight.

I consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have received my award on secondary reconsideration and not to have had to take it to appeal. I am still finding it hard to relax, still feeling exhausted, but still very angry at what we are being forced to endure. Have been extremely upset for all the other members who are having to take this all the way to appeal and can only offer them my utmost respect and best wishes, and hope and pray for each and everyone of you that you get your rightful decision!!

I have a few questions to ask but I wanted this post to be all about thanking the Mods and Members of this wonderful life saving site!! Thank you all and God bless you all!! PP

Hello agen! I have recieved a new housing benefit letter due to change of income because of pip award. It shows I am entitled to SDP can anyone tell me how to go about claiming it please as i don't have a clue? I have looked on Gov site but thats not any help. Also for a long time I have been entitled to EDP and have an ESA3 form to claim it but never got the chance to fill it in n send off because of all the other 'messing about'. Is the Esa3 the correct form even?

Hello Alison, sorry for late response to ur post. Thank you so much for ur best wishes and kind words. I have to say that I feel I would not have managed to get through it without the encouragement to carry on from urself and other members and the mods to continue the fight. Lots of times I almost gave up but the example u set by standing ur ground rite to the very end kept me going. I thought I would be letting the side down if I did not fight the buggars back! That indeed is how they are getting away with it!!

The fact that sick n disabled people have to get doctors, support workers etc involved with fighting them back says a lot about what a...holes they are!! Still, they can be very proud o themselves eh?? Ha! sorry for rant!

Alison I hope u are moving on now from your ordeal and starting to relax and enjoy life a little. I am getting there!! I will still be looking in on here to see how everyone is doin!!
