There's no reason why you can't make a complaint now to ATOS

www.atoshealthcare.com/pip/after_your_Consultation

Try and stick to matter of fact rather than arguing against the opinions of the assessor, it will have more effect.

Thanks Gordon, started work on the complaint... May take some time, as husband will be helping as I don't want to go off "half-cock" and mess it up. But I do feel that to change what I reported to her to the complete opposite is a bit off! There's lots more stuff too, but I'm pretty certain that the only thing I'm going to put in the complaint is that one issue...

Though am also tempted to complain about her saying I didn't say anything in questionnaire and consultation about my difficulties walking. I did. But then what does she mean by "functional"? Aaarrggghhh! Or is not being able to walk not "functional"? I need to read all the stuff again!

Hate how this stuff takes over ones life! :(

Thanks again for all of the help you Mods give.

I'm still working on my complaint to ATOS over missing out the "no" in "I have no stamina" by assessor on my PIP Consultation Report form - PA4... It was my 68th Birthday yesterday, so I took a day off. Sort of. As I simply couldn't stop thinking about it all. :(

Anyway, I was toying with doing a Copy of the email to my MP. Does that come across as too aggressive do you think? I'll likely be trying to involve her later anyway as I'm really struggling with putting evidence together for the MR if it comes to that.

We did hear from neighbour last night she went in and checked and "nothing sinister looking has arrived." I am so lucky to have a lovely neighbour who goes in to look for me when my anxiety about Brown Envelopes is peaking! :) We'll be going home early next week, Tuesday at latest as my Motability car is booked in for sorting out a fault with the petrol filler cap (it won't unlock!) on Thursday, plus Dentist same day, then a family Funeral on Friday. Everything happens at once!

I know it's not compulsory to send in additonal evidence or arguments when requesting MR but I really hope to do my best on that front. Losing my Motability car will be a big deal for me!

Compared to many I am lucky in that husband has a car that I can just about cope with being in, but it's not as comfortable for me, and using it will curtail me being able to visit Daughters and our GrandKids - all too far away (nearest is about 45 mins drive away, other is in London) for me to be able to travel in an uncomfortable car. Might make it to our allotment, which is approx 5 mins drive away! ;)

Sorry, rambling a bit here!

I would copy in your MP, it's not being pushy, the failure to carry out these assessments in a proper manner is a serious issue affecting the lives of many claimants, the only people who can make changes are our MP's, who I suspect would be happy to carry on in blissful ignorance of the problems in the system. if they could

Thank you thank you thank you!

My MP is a hard working one, I've contacted her many times on various issues, and have nearly always had an email or written response from her. I think that later on she might give me a hand if I need it.

Best wishes Gordon, to you and all the other wonderful moderators here. It helps so much to know there's somebody around to help me out with even trivial questions.

Best wishes from Bwlchtocyn (unpronounceable place in Wales! ;) )

After many re-writes  and diddling with the exact words  I've sent my "comment" to ATOS customer services, copied to my MP.

I got an auto-answer back straight away:

Automatic reply: Serious errors in my DLA to PIP Medical Report - Consultation report form - PA4
