Hope you can keep snug and warm Maggie, it's a bit chilly for caravaning!

Thanks Mrs HB! :) Caravan has central heating and double glazing, so not too bad even in winter! Plus I'll take my super furry electric blanket thing with me too. There's also a decent gas fire, and the cooker's gas, so if the leccy goes down we still shouldn't freeze. Years ago after autumn gales I had about 4 days with no power (was alone there at the time, just my much loved visitor Summer Cat for company), so we're always prepared for that possibility.

Today we had a phone call from my GPs surgery to say that my med records have been printed off and are ready to be collected. I asked for them to have them ready for Tribunal request. Husband went and collected them (and picked up the cheap champagne from Aldi ready for Christmas and New Year :) - a Which best buy at £9.99!). Massive pile of paper, just over an inch thick! Will take forever to go through them all! Some go back to 1987! All came nicely sealed up in a gigantic (yes, you guessed it!) Brown Envelope!

No other brown envelopes today... One thing I did see just dipping in to med notes was that their letter to Atos went off on 8 November.

We had thunder and hail this morning, but lots of sunshine since, and some wonderful cloud formations for me to watch from my bed (Still resting up after hospital appt on Wed). It's turned really cold today.

Just freaked out by all the waiting  , so husband made some phone calls today...

First was to GP to see if we'd got any results on the colonography CT scan I had done a week ago today. Nothing yet. Suggested we try again on Friday.

Then DWP over MR. We did the usual stuff over I said it was OK for husband to do the call on my behalf. Then it was we're going to ask some questions for security. First one was what is your landline telephone number? Now we've been through all of this before, we don't give out our landline as I can't cope with phone calls when I'm on my own. Last time we were in touch with DWP we went through all of this and they said they'd removed our number from their system.

So husband began to give number and I cut in (Voice stuff on his smart phone) and said Stop. Then I told woman that we'd been told our landline supposed to be taken off your system last time we talked to DWP, so it was irrelevant. We finally managed to get through using our full address and my NI number. Not happy how this was done - maybe I'm paranoid, but I felt they wanted our number given again so then they had an excuse to use it.

Anyway, eventually she agreed to look on computer. Said my MR is being worked on. If I don't hear anything by this time next week call again, though might have a letter by then. Husband thinks she didn't actually know anything, but was trying to soothe me.

Probably not going to caravan till get results from the scan. Though assume it can't be too bad or they'd have been in touch by now.

The waiting for it all is doing my head in.

Maybe time to go to lottie to do some overseeing!

Hugs from Liverpool to all going through these nightmare times!

Yes, same thing with me Maggie. They ask me every time to verify my mobile number, how they got it I'll never know. I always have to remember to tell them that I have asked for a note to be put on the system to never contact me by phone, for exactly same reasons you gave? They say it's just to pass security q's, but there are other details they can use. I think it's a ploy, that if you forget to tell them you have asked to never be contacted by phone they then see it as the green light to do just that. AND I will never ever give them my landline.

Hugs right back at you :)
