I'm getting help from CAB on thursday to fill the Pip2 worried that I haven't got
as much evidence as some on this site have had..I just have GP's Letter plus my Consultant's
report and a letter from my sister who happens to be psychologist ..which all states that
I was treated for late stage Hep C with related cirrhosis which failed and all the related
symptoms plus severe osteo-arthritis..I wondered if anyone has posted on this
site with the same issue or any other progressive illness ..I'm already getting middle rate care
and high rate mobility dla now have to change to pip at 68 years..I've had psyhios in
the past but gp failed to mention that, being referred to counselling so no report yet
So three letters and a bunch of medications is it enough?

AS I said to another member this afternoon, you can't submit what you haven't got! A few pages that relate to the descriptors can me more helpful than masses of stuff that is more general.

i went to CAB today to fill the PIP2..they had changed my appt from 20th to 22nd,
my case worker informed me that she was on a complicated case could I wait for an 1/2
hour, hour later she came out and said could she move the the date to next week but leave
my medical info and form and she would fill in what she could to save time ?

I refused to leave my med data and said if she couldn't see me now I would try and find
another org to help me I wish I had!!!

I was taken thru the whole process in a very hurried manner when I explained i wanted
a more detailed answer to the discriptors she got irritated..when I looked at her badge
it said trainee :( she wrote just a few brief notes in each of the boxes and that was my lot!

If sent as is i'm done.. it will all go, please adivce can i fill in the rest in more detail eg how each day effects me with these illnesses it will be in a different handwriting and
i'll also use A4 paper, I ve'had a nightmare day, I have to go through the whole thing
again..before sending it back to DWP and this is before the assessment!

It's you form, your claim, you can put whatever you think is relevant, you can even cross out what they have written if you feel it does not represent what you want to say about your limitations.

If necessary you can attach extra pages to the PIP2, just make sure that each page has your full name and NIN at the top and that they are numbered, we recommend "page X of Y" so that it is easy to see if pages are missing. Make sure you clearly mark on the form where your answers are and on the relevant page that you are answering question X.

Attach the pages to the back of the PIP2 using a staple or make a hole in the top left corner and use a treasury tag, string or ribbon to the form. The pages need to be easily detached so that they can be scanned by the DWP.

Your DLA will continue to be paid for only 1 month after the date of the PIP decision, whatever that decision is. Appealing will make no difference to this.
