Do most people just send their forms in the envelope provided or is it common to send them recorded delivery? Also is there a number you can call to make sure they have arrived safely.

Also is it OK to use Tip Ex on the form?

You can send the official envelop via recorded delivery or, if you have too much to go in, you can tape the official envelop to a larger one of your own.

I don't see why you shouldn't use tipex occasionally, just make sure than any corrections can be photocopied/scanned clearly.

Tip Ex should not be a problem providing the usage is not excessive.

We recommend, providing you can afford it, sending documents to the DWP by a tracked post such as Recorded Delivery, that way you will have a proof of delivery, at the very least ask for a Certificate of Posting (free) so that you have documentation should there be problems with a letter being received.

To confirm delivery, wait a couple of days to make sure it is booked in and call the PIP Helpline.

Just wandering how to tackle q6. i live in a 3 story house, the bath and shower are on the top floor, I don't use them as I can't climb the stairs. I have had to move my bedroom downstairs and my wife helps me strip wash. Do I still answer as if I use a bath or shower or not?

Your best bet is to explain the situation as you have here. Tell them that you cannot access your own bathroom because of the stairs but then explain the problems that you would have with a bath or shower if you could access them.
