You could do it for her, as I did for hubby today. The man was very nice and said its taking quite a few weeks for decisions to be made, but some are quicker than others. I requested a report and he said that takes upto two week to arrive. We are actually dreading reading it in a way in case it is lies like a lot of people have said this is what happens. But don't think I can wait for upto eight weeks for a decision. At least this will give us an idea I'm hoping. All this stress has taken its toll on my husband and hes not well at the minute, just not fair. Good luck to your and your wife. I will keep you updated.

Hi Gordon, my husband has had to see the occupation therapist today and she has suggested getting some adaptions in the home. When the assessor came she asked us about these and whether we had any. We hadn't apart from a raised toilet seat and commode hubby has to use at night, which we told her. Should we inform them about this but was told today the report is waiting now to be looked at by the DWP. Or should we just wait and see what happens?

I would think it's worth waiting until you get a copy of the Assessor's Report.

Hi, Glad you had the courage to ring , my wife will not ring and I am at work must of the day , it's not good putting all this stress on people ,but my wife will get there , I will be keeping a eye on your posts

Hi I know we are waiting on the result of hubbys assessment, but also now he has been put under the care of the community cardiac nurse team. At the minute hes really not well and is holding fluid. Should I inform them or like I have asked before just wait for the decision. I'm sure all this has had an effect on his health, its so not fair!!!!
