I can absolutely understand how/why the call has upset you :( Anything unexpected can be difficult to handle.

I feel that the 'anger' issue is often a 'get out of jail free' card so that home assessment can be refused.

That sounds about right! The anger is more frustration than anything, I end up angry because I feel like a child at times, I just want a normal life, I don't want to be scared and unhappy anymore :(

My stepson invited us to his for Christmas day but I can't go and it breaks my heart saying no :( I told my partner to go but he said he won't leave me on my own, so that has made me more upset which in turn made me angry because thanks to me being so messed up I am causing him to miss out on spending time with his children, I don't want the kids to think I am stopping their dad!

I truly am so upset right now! I was feeling a bit more positive about my appointment for pip until I've got this phone call.

I just wish I had the number and name of the nurse that called me so I could call her back to explain things better but it was a private number :(

I'd fall apart completely with out you guys

I am so worried now :(

I decided to call atos to see if they could find out who the nurse was that I spoke to earlier today.
I wanted to mention steps to change discharging me because of my mental health issues being too complex etc.

She said she couldn't find anything on the system and then said she will check the 'other part' and said that my claim has been done as a paper claim and my assessment on Tuesday has been cancelled!!???

She said my claim is now closed and they have sent the report back to the dwp, she said she didn't have any access to the report as my claim is now closed and then she put me through to the pip dwp to see if they could tell me what the report suggests.

Unfortunately they didn't have it available to read yet, she said they have received the report though, but all that was attached was my pip2 form and my hospital letter, I didn't send a hospital letter with my pip form because I forgot but I did attach it with my esa form, could they have got the letter from my esa claim?

I feel so sick now that I won't actually have the chance to show just how my mental health effects me but at the same time relief that I don't need to have a f2f.

What do you think are the chance of getting an award based on a paper claim?
I really wish I had more info to give her earlier when she said no one had written back to her yet, that's all she wanted plus asked me about hunger, she didn't mention any of the other questions at all
