hi walker,.
nothing at all shocks me what they write in there repots after joining this forum,, it unbelievable they havnt got a brain between the lot of them , wether you were a teacher or ex priminister, you are now unable to work and suffer with illnesses that prevent you from doing so,. try not to worry about whats been said on the report , the panel in the tribunal look at everything from scratch , before you go in the room they have already red your files etc,, they will basically ask you there own questions to determine wether you are entitled to a award , the time i was there there was no mention of cross examing anything the HA or DM said in there reports ,, just asked me question about the descriptors from the time when i had the assesment ,i did tell them that all of the stress has made a huge inpact on my MH and since have been put on the maximun dose of one of the anti depressant i take ,felt it important to say this at the end when they ask you if there is anything ude like to add or say ,, to have medical evidence obviously helps as it written on paper from dr etc ,, but by you being there face to face you have the oppertunity to explain excactly how difficult things are for you and dont hold back for feeling embarrased ,if your a shaking blubbering mess like i was thats good ,,cause they can see and know if your genuine or not so you have nothing to worry about honestly , i think it only natural to be feeling anxious and terrified of having to go cause i was , but after it was all over and i got home ,,i felt mentaly drained but at the same time was overwhelmed that i was actualy heard and believed after the past 10 mths of being made out to be perfectly healthy according to the dwp..,
best wishes ,
alison,
