I assume you mean activity 17; Behaving Appropriately?
The first thing is that the activity specifically refers to the "workplace" so even though you have these issues at home you must show that they would be applicable in the workplace as well, also you need to cover the issue that we might get annoyed at family but be more restrained with people that are only acquaintances.
In general a workplace will be less tolerant of this type of behaviour especially if the claimant were in a customer facing role.
So you need to explain what triggers these episodes and explain how you react to them? How often they occur and how long your are effected for? For example; are you more prone to secondary occurrences once an initial one has happened?
But all through your answer make sure that you refer to the workplace and the work environment.

But what if I don't work in a workplace? And haven't done so for many years.

It's not relevant, ESA is about your ability to work, whilst the activities do not directly look at your ability to work all of them look at things you might be expected to do in the workplace.

Would I then say if I were in a work environment with the added stress this could trigger these much more frequently? The reason why I talk about home is because 95% of the week that's where I am, with the exception of attending a medical appointment, so this doesn't happen outside the house. But I have had a couple of very distressed appointments at the CMHT this year. Do you think I should just leave this objective alone?
Explaining what happens and why is what I am talking about, you don't need t major on the "work" bit but you do need to make it clear that you would be affected in the same way of worse if you were in the workplace.

Thank you, sorry for my slowness, I just have times when everything feels foggy in my brain. But I am doing as you suggested, doing a draft in manageable chunks, whilst i'm waiting for my CPN to be back at work, so I can get the relevant medical evidence from them. Since the consultant psychiatrist left, getting a copy of my appointments has been so much slower.

Can I get some advice, please? I’m working on my ESA50 and I had an appointment with my CPN recently and she thinks I should fill in the section about moving around. I’ve never had to fill in the physical health section and I don’t know what to do. I have a functional neurological disorder because of my mental health. I very rarely leave the house and when I do I have a taxi pick me up from my front door and drop me back there, only have appointments on the ground floor, use ramps etc so I never have to walk far, not that I could anyway. But I do know I experience pain with every step, the days I attend an appointment I’m more tired and come home to bed, I lose my balance frequently etc. I’m on meds but never been given any walking aids or physio.
Part of me wants to leave the question, but, then I think about what if it goes to the tribunal and they wonder why I ticked the box for having no problems with this criteria when I do.
Any help is appreciated please, feeling so overwhelmed.
