Thanks Hamida
I used the email address that Gordon supplied in his initial response to this post, see above. The waiting is awful. The more I've read, the less confident I feel. The DWP have us just where they want us.

Hello Gordon,

I received the report today in the post the ESA85. And the health assessor has just contradicted most of the things on the report. She put down that I sat on the chair for 56 minutes throughout the assessment I bent down to get papers out of the bag I was holding a bag I walked 20metres from the waiting area to the assessment room where in fact I was struggling to keep up with her following her to the assessment room as after couple of steps I had to stop to take a deep breath. the bag I has was one of those you get from JD shop with strings which was around my neck not holding. I will of course not criticise anything when and if I get a phone call with a MR now having looked at the report myself I know the answer by second DM MRs decision she also mentioned that I help both crutches in one hand to open the door (which was a surprise) to me she also mentioned that the taxi dropped me on the street and I walked from the street to assessment centre where in fact the taxi dropped with right outside the assessment centre and the taxi driver helped me to the entrance when the security guards took over. she did not even touch me to carry out any medical assessment at all what so ever and has made her comments not matching the answers at all as she put down that I drove to the shops and took a scooter to do the shopping and drove for 7 minutes where in fact the shops are about half minute drive from my house and like of asda Sainsbury is in fact less then 5 minutes drive but again I don't get out of the door alone I cant actually balance myself on my legs without support but she has given an opposite report. Any advise will be greatly appreciated please. I am not criticising the assessor but making fact points here and I am gobsmacked at reading the report I have read the full report yet as I couldn't continue.....help/advise needed

Hamida

I've merged your posts into one topic, it makes it very difficult for us to provide advice if members create new topics each time they post, so please try and keep all further posts in this topic.

Correcting factual errors in the report is important and definitely something to do but doing so won't result in an award.

I would sit down with your ESA50, the ESA95 and the Claim guides and go back through the questions one by one to make sure that you have shown that you meet the criteria to score points.

Be aware some of the Descriptors have multiple elements and you need to meet all of them to score points.

hello Gordon,

thank you for the information about merging the post. To be honest I am still learning to use this website I will ensure I get this done correctly in future. Indeed I will go through each point and make notes but the form I initially filled out I don't have a copy I do remember photocopying before posting it to them but I can't remember if I left it in photocopier at the shop or what can I request for a copy of the initial form from DWP? my main concern is the time limit now that's all until I get a confirmation that they will allow me the extended time to appeal this is going to be a worry for me as I just read a post where someone has 14 days to appeal.

You can request a copy of your ESA50 from the DWP but it may take 7-10 days to arrive.

I can only repeat what I have said before, the time for requesting an MR is defined in law, the DWP cannot offer an extension although they may be willing to accept a late request.
