Will there still be Motability (mobility) cars under personal independence payment (PIP)?

Yes there will still be Motability cars under personal independence payment (PIP), according to the Motability charity.

The enhanced rate of the mobility component of PIP will give access to the Motability Scheme, in the same that the higher rate of the mobility component of disability living allowance (DLA) does now.

However, the criteria for getting the enhanced rate of the mobility component of PIP appear to be harder to meet for non-wheelchair users than the criteria for DLA higher rate mobility.  This may well mean that many people who are currently eligible for the Motability scheme may cease to be once they are transferred to PIP.

Personal independence payment (PIP) training days

Benefits and Work personal independence training days for support workers are currently running in London and Bristol, as well as being available in-house.
