Received the bundle of documents from DWP for tribunal was created by Audrey
Hi, I am my daughter’s advocate. She has had PIP for the last. 16 years for her autism, dyspraxia, ocd, add and anxiety. In January it was removed. We applied for a mandatory reconsideration which was turned down and are now heading for a tribunal. We have received their bundle of documents and i want some ideas on how to approach them to make points for the tribunal. I look forward to hearing from anyone.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi Audrey
First off, I would go back to the most recent assessment. Obviously, she lost a lot of points - but where and what was the justification? I hope in the bundle you have a copy of the PA4 (the assessor's report). If she had a paper-based assessment, there won't be a report. The paper-based assessment will give you more idea than the original decision letter. Your job at the Tribunal is to show that they made a mistake in their assessment of your daughter. I know you put in a Mandatory Reconsideration - so you will already have done a lot of the work - but you want to see if you need to strengthen your arguments at all. There is a guide for the Best Way To Challenge a Medical Report. If you didn't look at it before, have a look now and see if there is anything you missed. (You probably didn't, but you never know.
Hopefully, you will find it easier at the Tribunal because you will have a doctor and a disability expert on the panel who should have a greater understanding of your daughter's difficulties.
Also, start a bullet pointed list of what are the key points that you would want the Tribunal to know about your daughter. You will always be asked at the tribunal if there's anything else you want to say and the list is useful. You can always adjust it, before the Tribunal happens, but I find it useful to start the list from the beginning as different things occur.
Try not to be overwhelmed by the bundle. Read it bit at a time and highlight anything you want to disagree with
