If you make a new claim for ESA on or after 3 April and you are placed in the WRAG then you will not receive payment of the WRAG component, just the Personal Allowance.

Thank you, my financial situation is complicated, I may only receive NI credts - do they still allocate you theoretically as in either the support group or WRAG so that if subsequently your income becomes low enough for IRESA then the IRESA kicks in ?

Yes, if you are not found to meet the requirements of either the WRAG or the SG then you will not receive NI Credits.

Also, as financial situ complicated and it is likely there will be questions from DWP and answers from myself going on for a while, do they still give the assessment weekly payment even if they are in the process of establishing if income ow enough for IRESA. If so what happens later if they conclude income was not low enough after all, do I have to pay the assessment phase money received back to the DWP

Your entitlement to ESA(IR) will be checked when you make a claim, so if your income is higher than the Assessment rate then it will not be paid.

I contacted the tel number on the link chdauk - Health Assessment Advisory Service, I asked for an address my doctor could use on a letter to say I would not be capable of attending a medical assessment centre. The guy said he could not give me one. He said he could not do anything until I made the phone call initiating an ESA claim. I know that I have to have a special letter specifically to Maximus about not being able to attend a medical assessment centre but during the conservation he also said I would not be able to use any letters that my doctors had written describing my health problems if they mentioned PIP on them. He said such letters would be ignored. Do you think that may be the case now? I really do not want to hassle all my doctors to repeat letters describing my problems simply because they have PIP in the address at the top of the letter or are headed supporting letter for PIP. The whole content of the letters describing my conditions would still be the same for ESA. I was planning on using all my recent PIP evidence-GP/Psychiatrists letters with a covering letter saying they were written for my PIP claim but all content still applicable. Do you think this guy is wrong, shall I call this Health Assessment Advisory Service again?
