To be clear, whether you are entitled to payment of the CA or not, both of you need to be providing a minimum of 35 hours of care a week.

Because we have different conditions our care needs are different which is why we are able to fulfill this condition. If you claim for double carers allowance without being able to fulfill this requirement it would be fraud and you would deserve everything you got.
