Hello wonder if you could help me i have been on ESA,DLA since 2013 my first re assessment should have been august 2016 i had to phone up and ask dwp they replied saying i will not be assessed until april 2017 than no assessment in apr 2017 phoned them again and they said it would be april 2018 but after reading your news i am confused when i will be assessed dont know if i will be going onto pip or uc just confused and just wondered if you could shed some light on this for me thank you peter

The DLA is easy, you will be invited to claim PIP but as claimants are being chosen at random it's impossible to say when it will happen.
If they have said that you are not due for reassessment of your ESA until April next year then I would take this as being the case.
At this time there is nothing more than a scheduled start date for the transfer of ESA(IR) claimants to Universal Credit, as the DWP have missed every UC target so far and many by years, I don't think that this is an issue anyone needs to worry about at the moment.
