They cancelled esa medical, now my bank shows JSA was created by MsJane
They cancelled my ESA appointment that was due for a medical this week and when I rang up they said they had enough information from my doctor to make a decision. I was hopeful. Now I seem to be receiving JSA according to the payment in my bank account today. Can they refuse you without even doing a face to face? My doctor will have been honest about my condition as she also provided information for my PIP application which I got with no face to face.
What do I do now? I'm quite upset

The ESA payment system is piggy backed on the JSA one, so when the DWP make a manual or ad hoc payment it shows as JSA, I can assure you that they have not moved you to JSA from ESA, in fact they cannot find you Fit for Work without your having a face to face assessment, so the assessment report is recommending an award of either the WRAG or the Support Group.
It's possible that the strange payment is related to a Decision being made but it could just be a problem which prevented your normal payment, these happen quite frequently for ESA. I'm afraid the only way to be certain is for you to contact the DWP office dealing with your claim.
