Work related interview with work coach...even if y was created by Rita-Zelie St Lyon
Dear Gordon,
Thank you for your most helpful guides. I've hit a new issue that I really would appreciate your help with please. They've set up a meeting with me with a work coach without even writing to me to inform me they moved me to a work related group although they said they dont consider me up to working yet. Can you tell me please 1. can I put this off until they send me written confirmation of such a transfer
2. Can I insist on a different location for the interview if there is no car parking/ a distance to walk within the building e.g. the local disability support centre where there will be a witness/support person
3. When someone is put in this work related category is their benefit automatically stopped after a year?
4 How do I best get myself transferred into the support group?
5. Is awake in pain most of the previous night (not unusual for me) acceptable grounds to put off such an interview and what other grounds can be used -

I've also answered your other topic!

1. Ask you advisor.

2. I wouldn't expect this to be allowed, the advisor will be based in the office that the appointment is booked for.

3. If you are receiving ESA(CB) then your payments will stop after 365 days, If you are receiving ESA(IR) or are eligible to receive ESA(IR) then your payments can continue.

4. You need to show that you meet the criteria for the SG, you will need to request an MR to do this.

5. Your advisor must take reasonable account of your limitations when setting Work Related Activity.
