Appeal date received was created by Banness
Just received a letter today advising of appeal date in 2 weeks. Have had to return to work 8.5 hours weekly after bei ng on incapacity/esa for 17 years due to degenerative illness. What should I expect at appeal. Seeing an adviser on Wednesday but any help would be appreciated.

You might find this helpful. It refers to ESA/ATOS but things are largely similar.

Try not to worry about the appeal. The point of the appeal is to for the panel to look at all the papers and ask you questions to clarify anything they are unclear of and to ask you about your medical conditions and the impact of them on your daily living and your mobility. If you have any evidence that you haven't submitted you can take that with you.

Any additional paperwork should be with the Tribunal Service at least 1 week before the date of the hearing. At most, the panel might accept a single sheet of A4 on the day, you should take 4 copies of this with you and hand them to the Clerk of Court on arrival.
