TOPIC: Baby 6 Months Bilateral Talipes(ClubFoot)

Baby 6 Months Bilateral Talipes(ClubFoot) 6 years 1 month ago #68954

Hi everyone out there

Hoping someone out there will be able to help with the dreaded dla form with regards to our baby who has as the topic says Bilateral Talipes(ClubFoot).

We were told to apply for DLA by our pediatrician/Physio.

Our LO has been going through the ponseti treatment at present and has been casted for 5 weeks then put into his boots and bars but has had to come out of them due to blisters and sores all over his feet/ankles. as he has been out of them for over a week his feet have turned back and he is back to being casted for another 3 weeks before he can go back inot his boots and bars and who knows if this will happen again. we are at the hospital every week twice a week and he will have the boots and bars on for 12 weeks 23hrs a day then at night till he is 4.

Has anyone dealt with the dla regarding this ?

any help would be much appreciated

Regards
