It arrived ! ESA85A
To the point, "work us unlikely in the longer term"

However ...
Medical evidence suggests the client cannot mobilise unaided by another person, more than 50 meters without stopping because if significant discomfort etc etc

Question :
i made clear no walking for majority of time and definately no more than 20 meters ..

Will this HP report of 50m have a adverse affect towards my pip claim ??

Hi Cats,

All I can say is that we have not seen an ESA result being used to reduce or remove an PIP claim.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

So having an ESA award on descriptors for mobility, would not help towards a pip claim with the similar mobility descriptor?

My understanding is pip is a 20m rule

Evidence submitted to ESA clearly confirms mobily lower and no more than 20m ...
Yet HP states 50m.

Whilst an ESA assessor can state a lower distance if they wish, the legal requirement is 50m or less so all they have to certify is that this is the case, so you cannot assume that your ESA award is an acceptance that you can only walk 20m.

No the ESA is not an acceptance that I can only walk 20m ( in fact a lot less) as the healthcare professional states 50m.

But now I understand what you are saying about the legal requirement or 50m.

I am / was concerned on the pip discriptor for mobility that he pip assessors would use the ESA85A against my pip claim, if I were to send it as evidence.
