requesting a copy of the HCP report for PIP was created by fastmoggy
Just called Capita to request a copy of the HCP's report of my wife's recent assessment.
After a short while listening to the music!!!! the capita representative got back to me and told me that id have to apply to the data protection team in Wales to obtain a copy! We live in the east midlands so normally have to deal with the Birmingham office ( we got Belfast) so wasn't expecting this.
Ok so I need to know if this is correct or are we being deliberately delayed by the system?
I asked for a phone number for the wales office but they were unable to give me that!
Has anyone else experienced this tactic or is this now the correct procedure which I was totally unaware of. The last time we needed the PA4 report we informed the DWP and it duly came without any fuss!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You need to make the request to the DWP and not the Assessment Provider.

Thanks for that, as I was driving back to work that suddenly hit me which explains why the representative stalled when I asked!
Ok back to square one and the DWP tomorrow

I had my pip medical on Thursday 26th april, I requested a copy of the assessment from the dwp by phone on the following Monday 30th april, they said it would be sent out, at the time of writing tuesday 22nd may, I still have not received a copy, should I have sent the request in writing? mind you having said that, I haven't received a decision from the dwp either.
