Anyway the ATOS (different name now)advisor gave him an appointment for tomorrow and luckily is father has the day off and so can take him. As it is last minute, and we have no letter i just wanted to check what he needs to take. I know he needs ID and prescription info. Is that it do you think?

They usually want two forms of identification if available, one being a photo id of some form.

The only other thing would be any late evidence you have.

That's good, we can do that. The advisor said his father (who she knows is taking him) to have ID as well??? I did not understand why. Then I started worrying that they may have thought his father is an appointee. We did not have an appointee but I wrote on the form answering the questions saying 'he cannot do' etc. My son signed the form and we both signed a letter saying how i had done the form for him but he had read it all. You don't think they are expecting me to go with him to the assessment and expecting my ID?

No I don't think they are expecting you to attend, it's likely just for security reasons, so that they know who is in their building, I would be surprised if he is actually asked for it tomorrow.

I am thinking of trying for a late MR for my PIP mobility( now that I have the necessary more detailed evidence that I gained for my ESA claim , i believe i can provide good evidence of the lateness) but if i do get chance for the shared ownership, one of the criteria for the shared ownership is being on PIP which i am for daily living. I am thinking that from the shared ownership's team point of view my PIP is currently secure but if I start a late MR then the shared ownership team may see my PIP as not being definite. It is the case that if you start an MR then another body may think the award could be lost and therefore not count it as ticking their criteria. Although I am sure after an MR I would still have daily living award of standard at the very least, by doing a late MR the shared ownership team may have to assume it could be lost. Do you think I am right in this thinking?

Sorry but I've no idea how a third party might view your requesting an MR.

Hi, just checking a couple of things. I am hoping to hear my son has been awarded PIP by the end of August because this affects my ESA which in turn affects shared ownership. But I think it is going to come through too late. PIP help line says 2 to 3 weeks from near before claim processed. The guy said assessment report received but he started saying that I could not assume my son will be awarded. So could he see the assessment scores or was he just talking generally? Also I could have asked for a copy of the report couldn't I?
