I will try to get a up to date letter from my GP .
Can I mention substantial risk factor rules in the more information box on the ESA50 form ?
Thank you again

Yes you should, whilst a Tribunal might recognise that you meet these criteria it is less certain that an assessor or Decision Maker will.

Thank you again Gordon :)
That's a good point if it goes to a tribunal I have something to fight my case with.
I find it so hard to fill the form in and trying to get my symptoms across.
I was wondering if anyone else on this site suffers with RSD and how they get their point across on the form because the symptoms is very hard to put into words,I know how I suffer with my pain but writing about it on that form is very challenging.
It is nice to know that there is good people on this site that can give ideas and throw some light on it.
Thank you again :)

I feel so lost and down today
I went to see my doctor yesterday but my doctor was not there ended up seeing a locom doctor I asked him could I have a letter from him to send with my ESA 50 form and he said he don't give out letters.
Last time my doctor gave me two letters one that I sent after I sent my ESA form and one to help me with my tribunal,I did have pay for them £20 I think.
I also had a letter from my specialist last time but this time I can't get one from her because I can't get passed her secretary and I dont see her until August, The secretary is saying that they would wait until the ESA department gets in contact with them about any information they needed.
I feel like I am getting no where with my form.
I have copies of the letters from 2013 but my condition has got worse and my medication has changed like I had infusions last year to help with the pain but they didn't help and I was put on MST tablets late 2013 just after my tribunal but they don't get rid of my pain and I know my specialist said she will increased the dose if she thought she needed to the next time I see her in August, I should have seen her next week but the hospital cancelled it.I see her every six months but this time it will be longer than that with her cancelling.
I am so fed up with it all I don't know how I should go about getting a doctor letter now as it is very hard to get appointments with my doctor.
Anyone know of the best way for me to ask for a letter or what I should do next.

Is your normal GP there or on holiday? If they are there you can try and speak to them to see if they will give you a letter.

As to the form, try and break It down into smaller units of work, answer one question and take a break or do a couple of paragraphs at a time.

You could get in contact with your doctors secretary. When I needed copies of medical notes I contacted my doctors secretary explained the problem and she dealt with my request very promptly. Explain how stressed you have become trying to cope with all this I am sure she will help if she can. It's worth having a go.

My GP is there but not everyday and i can't make appointment to see her,I have to telephone on the day and try and get appointment. I telephone in the morning and i might get appointment on that day but if I don't I have to telephone the next day and so on and then it might not be her that I get to see because she is not in the surgery on that day.It is a funny old set up I know but that's the way it is.
The problem I have is chronic pain in my left arm and hand with my rsd and all the letters I have from my consultant and doctor dated 2013 mention my left hand and arm and how the pain is with my day to day living but I have nothing in writing about current problems I have arthritis in my knees I am not under a consultant with my knees but I have had xrays and I have had MRI scan on my knees and the doctor just told me it was arthritis and referred me to physio,I have now finished my physio but I still have pain in my knees. I have also starting having pains in both wrists and joints in my elbows and shoulders and I am having blood tests tomorrow to see if they can get to the bottom of what's going on with me and my pain.
I have nothing up to date that I can send with my ESA50 form.
I got RSD from a accident in work a good few years ago now, I did go back to work doing light duties but with lack of sleep with my pain and I was dropping things with my bad hand poor grip, the company had to let me go as i was a liability and a risk this was how I won my tribunal last time.
Sorry about my life story but this is how I find explaining myself on that stupid ESA50 form so hard as my condition is all about pain.
I have today requested my gp records I thought that may help and I will try again with my doctors to see If i can get to see her this week I don't know what else I can do really.
Thank you again Gordon for the advice I am truly grateful,I just hope that I can get a up to date doctors letter that I can refer to when filling the form out.
Thank you again
