Ok thanks Gordon. Not as daft a question as I thought then. I definitely could not walk without them. Have to have something on my feet at all times to walk. Even in house have to wear padded slippers. Awkward a bit in summer as would love to walk around house barefoot but just no way could do this. Feet been like this for donkeys, just that they got worse over the years. PP

I should have been clearer in my post  the test is in regard your ability to walk outside, so the comparison is between you wearing shoes with the inserts and shoes without the inserts.

Still absolutely flattened, wiped out! But can I say a massive big thanks to the mods without whose help I simply could not have managed to survive this past six months! My mental health has without doubt deteriorated over this period due to those a...holes at DWP etc and it is likely to take several weeks, if not months to recover from my ordeal. Had a call from the social worker this morn that I cancelled a few weeks ago. Had a little chat and have agreed to a meeting here at home in couple o weeks time. Was little happier this time round to agreeing to it as I was told they are aware of the impact that these assessments are having on us all, and in all honesty I think if there's any more grievance from Dwp I just mite fold if left to it on my own. Anyway Mods, a simple thank you just doesnt seem enough to express how much you are appreciated, so all I can say is, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! And of course a big thanx to all other members as well! Oh I do go on! xxx

Hello, hope you all ok.

I have been reading all about the appeal process. Have also gone thru the PIP Guide again. Could you kindly tell me if 'PA4 medical consultation report' mentioned on p70 of the guide is the very same thing as the 'assessment report' mentioned on p76? I am wanting to ask for a copy of the assessment report and just needed this clearing up before I ring them. Also could you tell me if there is anything else I could ask for? I seem to remember mentioned somewhere something about a 'score sheet'. I am wanting to ask for whatever is available to me and am hoping to do it with just the one phone call as I absolutely dread ringing them. Hope that makes sense. Finally if I do put my request in, how long am I likely to have to wait for it? Or is that a case of how long is a piece o string? Thanx :)
