Wobbly

Several members have reported using this service, I don't think any of them have reported problems.

There's no reason why they DWP person should take the form with them and if they say that they want to then you can refuse, it's your form and you are entitled to read and copy it before it is sent.

OK DWP have been and form is now filled in. (Yes she did take the form away with her). On the whole it was a positive experience, she listened to what I told her and entered things accurately. She also referenced ALL my medical evidence at the appropriate questions.

She told me that she believes I have enough info that I shouldn't need f2f, but if it's decided I do she will recommend a home visit. She said I was highly likely to receive an award, but wouldn't say what level.

One worry was the moving about question how far can you walk. I believe this should have been answered less than 20 as I use a 4 wheeled Walker but still need someone with me to help guide it due to my sensory disabilities. BUT she argued as there is nothing wrong with my legs she entered 'it varies'.

At f2f can I argue that I cannot walk safely or in a timely manner? Or is this option now gone due to 'it varies' response?

Hi Wobbly,

There are 2 mobility questions. The first one is for people who have problems with mental health and/or sensory and cognitive issues.

The second one is for people with purely physical problems.

The important information relating to your sensory issues should have been documented in the answer for the first question. As long as that was done, as you have explained it to us, the lack of information for the second question should not be an issue.

By the way, there is no need to post your message again if it does not appear for a while. You will not be able to see it until it has been read and approved by a moderator when the forum is officially 'open' :)

Hello again. I got a text message on Thursday 19 acknowledging my application. Now today I missed a call while I was in work. When I called to query why they called, the Lady could only see a note asking to confirm details before 'change' but did not know what ddtagjp . When I explained it was my first claim and I only just sent it, she was none the wiser but confirmed all my details (Bank. N insurance. Address and phone)

Dare I hope for a super speedy result or is it far too early? Any thoughts?

We have seen very quick Decisions but not on the timescales you seem to have had.
