My consultation with atos on wednesday do I take them two original forms of ID or copies or both?....I am a wreck and the stress has triggered my conditions in so much pain but don't want to be off my tree with painkillers as I'll be sick...thankfully they have agreed to reimburse me with the taxi fare as its not too far will have someone with me, still having a nervous breakdown
will post the process once recovered if I ever do!!!

You should take the original of the ID, it will be returned to you pretty much straight away.

I hope that everything goes well!

I'm so angry....got to my assessment after days of anxiety only to be told it was cancelled due to assessor taken ill!!!!??

They said they tried to contact me in time, I looked on my phone log and just 29 mins before I got there they had tried to call....

Now given another date in two weeks time in which case I have to go thru it all over again.
Atos called to say sorry and also got the person at the center to write a note saying I have
attended...they are sending another letter is there anything else I can do and does this happen often?

I'm afraid this is all too common. The claimant is allowed to rebook only once, there are no such rules for the assessment provider!

As my appointment has been rescheduled to the 16th I wondered if I have to request again for the assessment be allowed to be recorded as I had done for the previous appt or will they have it on record...I'm worried that they cancelled the the first appt because of this as the the centre was relatively empty when I got there, didn't look as they had over booked please advice.
