Miserable

Sorry it was not what you (and I) expected, but in general, your GP responding is still a good thing.

Hi I just received my report.

I scored 4 points for mobility 11.b needs prompting to be able to undertake any journey to avoid ovoid ingredients overwhelming psychological distress to the claimant. That's wrong. I personally feel I should have got 11.f.
The nurse wrote that it is medically reasonable that she would need prompting to undertake any journey to avoid overwhelming psychological distress to her for the majority of the time.
If it causes me overwhelming psychological distress then it's weird how you don't get any mobility award, very strange.

I scored 15 points for daily living, really shocked by that.

It says a review in 1 year.

I am more than happy with that, I just hope the case manager agrees with the report.

If the case manager agrees with the report then I won't ask for a MR for the mobility, I just need a little extra money to help with the cost of taxi's etc.

Now I just need to wait, I'll keep you informed when I finally get the award letter through.

Should I feel hopeful?

alison,

Hi Alison,
Unfortunately my ziplicone and lorazepam aren't on my repeat prescription, my Dr would only give me 5 at a time so I don't get addicted to them because he was worried it would end up causing me more harm in the future.
I do have a stockpile of the lorazepam because I mainly take them when I go to the Dr's, ziplicone are all gone :(
He wants me to try non medicated tasks to help me to sleep better.
Thank you for your best wishes, it means a lot! Xx

Descriptor (f) is considered to be about navigation and is therefore primarily an issue of cognitive ability or sensory restriction. You would need to argue that the your anxiety with going out was so severe that it impacted on your cognitive ability to such an extent that you were unable to navigate the route. Can you show this?

Hi Gordon,

I think I can show that, before I could even go out I could not think straight, I get really disorientated, I get agitated and cannot breathe, the emotional stress at the mere thought of going out affects me really bad. I think because of me becoming disorientated affects my cognitive ability, maybe they see it differently to me :S

I would rather not get mobility than have to go to an appeal to prove what state I get in.

So hopefully I will get the enhanced daily which will be a huge help financially and that way I won't need to go out to appeal or go through an MR.
