TOPIC: Capita pip 2nd home visit

Capita pip 2nd home visit 6 months 1 week ago #173948

Hi,I got a phone all from Capita this morning asking if it was ok to bring the appointment forward by 15 minutes. So I said yes and took the opportunity to ask what the reassessment was about, the man said it was to do with further medical evidence. And they thought if they sent the report away with out it included it wouldn't be a fair assessment of my case and by reassessing my case it would strengthen my chances of getting any help if I was entitled to any.He said you only get one real chance to put your case forward and this was to help my case.I have heard that many bad reports about these companies that it worried me as regards getting another assessment. It puts my mind at ease but I suppose it isn't them that make the assessment. Many thanks for listening to my rants. I am 55 and was 18 when I last claimed the dole it's a total mine field now.

Regards Chris

Just to let you know how my 2nd home assessment went,The nurse who did my 1st home visit just up and left and never sent my details before she finished. They eventually got some of the information but where short of some other bits and needed some updates on my cervical spondylitis.Todays assessor said she would send it off today and it would be fast tracked and would be sorted in 2/4 weeks instead of 4/8 weeks. So here's hoping.
