Hi could I ask if everyone over 16 and under 65 will be changing to pip even though they get indefinite dla

Hi Merrygirl,

Yes, everyone over the age of 16 who was under 65 in April 2013 will be 'invited' to claim PIP at some stage, even if they have an indefinite DLA award.

The selection process is random so we have no idea when specific claimants will get the 'invitation' letter.

That is what I thought, I know someone who has bulging disc problem and rheumatoid arthritis, and they said that they are not going to get better and was told that they are staying on dla, they are 44. I think this is strange as there are many people out the with the likes of, mental health problems .ME, etc and they are losing parts of their benefits.
This person can still, drive, shop, cook, housework , do personal care, decorate their house, etc, which I think is all wrong if what they are saying is true
