DLA Assessment

Just to explain a little further. I was on incapacity benefit and, when assessed for ESA, I was turned down. I went to citizens advice who said I should appeal and also apply for DLA. The DWP turned me down for DLA. Then a doctor came to the house to assess me for DLA and it went to tribunal. They overturned the decision and awarded me ESA and DLA for mobility.
I had a form for ESA which I filled in and returned to the DWP in June. I've now had a letter telling me I must attend for an assessment on December 13th. Because of how I was treated last time I think it might be best to have the assessment recorded but I still have the problem of getting there.
Hope that makes sense.

Sorry, I just realised I put this as DLA Assessment when it should be ESA. I'm living up to my forum name here.

My daughter wrote to the DWP today about my mobility issues and how to access the place. She also sent in a copy of the DLA report where, after an assessment, the registered medical practitioner and a HCP approved by the Secretary of State of the Department of Work and Pensions stated that "although there is some variability there are not going to be any days where mobility and care needs are not going to be substantive" and “it is unlikely that there will be any significant improvement”.
We've also asked for the assessment to be recorded.
The appointment is on December 13th. Would you have any idea when I might hear something about their decision please?
Thank you.

ESA Decisions are usually made 2-3 weeks after the assessment.
