You can refuse to perform any test if it would cause you pain or distress but you will need to explain why you have refused.

Speak to your Post Office, the faster the post the more it will cost!

hi gordon i phoned wolverhampton on friday.they had signed for my pip claim. I inquired about sending more information as i had not finished one part of it,The chap i was speaking to said he would have some one pull out my file and look at it and let me know if they can help with it.But when a lady called me yesterday she said i have an extension. I do not i explained its all ready been signed for.She said oh maybe it has not been uploaded yet. She went on to say i can write a letter ,but can not send any more information and wait till i have an assessment to show any more information test results ect.I understand that you can send in more info right up to the assessment. please let me know how i stand

Eve

You can send more information but you need to know where to send it.

You can contact the Assessment Provider for your postcode. See

www.gov.uk/government/publications/pip-postcode-map-uk

and then

www.atoshealthcare.com/

or

www.capita-pip.co.uk/contact-us.aspx

Send a copy to the AP as soon as you can and take a copy to any assessment and ask them to read it and include it in your file.

I would also send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your clain.

I have a f2f next week. Is this normal to get one this soon. And its a long way and thinking i might ask for one more local. As the person who used to take me can not so i will have to take a taxi as i do not know this place at all.

How quickly a claimant receives an appointment does not mean anything in regard to the assessment process, just that the Assessment Provider has space in their diary.

You can rearrange to a closer venue, but if you do then you will need to attend on that day or risk your claim being closed. If you do decide to do this then make the new appointment while you are on the phone with them, so have your diary with you.
