ESA Health Assessment 2 months from retirement?

Hi all,
I had a capability for work questionnaire in December which I duly filled out and my Doctor completed the back page as I am recovering from cancer.
On the back page she stated that I was not fit for work, saying that I had been left debilitated after my treatment for over 5 years and that I was not fit for any work.
Maximus contacted my doctor asking how my mobility was which was described in the form in great detail and also about my incontinence as I previously had an anal stretch and leak continuously from my rectal stump.
My doctor was a bit put out by having to answer extra questions and asked me what was going on.
Now what there is to not understand in the respect that I use a 4 wheeled walker in strange places where I do not know the distances or seating arrangements and not bother using it where I know that it is only a few steps from the car to the hospital waiting room I don't know.
As for my incontinence, I leak 24/7, the bowel produces mucus 24/7, it has to go somewhere, in my case after the anal stretch it leaks out. What is there not to understand about that.
My doctor also filled out a Fit Note covering me to my retirement date and the DWP also sent me a text "We've received your Fit Note and details of your assessment. Your ESA payment will continue and you don't need to send us any more Fit Notes.
This I thought would be the end of the matter, now I have to attend an Assessment with a health care professional on Friday 10th March.
This all seems rather silly as I am covered to when I retire and is a waste of my time and the health professionals. Also it seems that they are not trusting my doctor which she is not happy about.
I am getting the interview taped or recorded to CD as i will be asking some pertinent questions before continuing with my assessment.
Anyone with any ideas as to why the DWP and Maximus are being such idiots please reply, I will be glad to hear them.
I have twin hernias, one the size of a 36 DD on the left, the other a 36 C on the right, a colostomy, peripheral neuropathy in my hands and feet, diabetes, chronic pancreatitis, and also a heart condition that leaves me quite breathless. Also the incontinence that can leave me with nappy rash, something I was not expecting at my age. Needless to say I am not expecting to be put into the work group.

Thanks Gordon, no idea what else they want to ask me as it was basically the same as it was in 2014, if anything I have got worse since then with my heart condition, diabetes and chronic pancreatitis.

Time will tell.

Had my WCA Face to Face today 10/03/2017.

A very pleasant lady and most helpful.

To cut a long story short, after going through a few details about my condition she could see that I was not in a fit condition for work.
She then made a phone call, came back and said that the interview was no longer needed in such detail and interview was ended.
DWP will be in touch with me within 10 days, looking good.
The assessor said when asked that the interview was not really needed in the first place and that it was really a waste of time and resources. Whoever asked for it in the first place was an idiot basically and all the extra information from my doctor had really clinched it.

So looking good.

As an aside, when I had my PIP re assessment, the very lovely assessor also stated it was a waste of her time and resources as she had been supplied with more than enough info to place me in the High rate care/mobility and she even wrote on the report no need for a re assesment again as my health will only be getting worse and will not improve. She said it seems no one actually reads anything before sending the forms to the assessor ans she was rather cross about the state of affairs.
