Anyone had to endure to review claims concurrently

Rang for DLA TO PIP form 24/2. Still no sign of form?
However, there was a new surprise through letter box, and revision of ESA AWARD Form to fill in?
This is a lot for me to try to absorb and get through as I assume the Pip form will also have a timeline?
Anyone else had this misfortune? My nerves are at rock bottom anyway.
Many thanks in advance.

It usually takes 7-10 days for the form to arrive, if it hasn't arrived with Monday's post then I would give the PIP Helpline a call to chase. If it is delayed then you can ask for a two week extension.

Ms Basset, do the best you can! & good luck

Not quite together, but i had two claims with several months apart, but it still felt like only a week had gone by since the 1st was completed . "They" don't seem to get that we're all sick & ill )

Anyway for the 2nd claim which was pip i had two extensions both 2weeks i did try for a third but was lacking good cause & it was refused ..

i recorded all these calls because on the first two calls asking for extensions i had to force the call handler to explain how i would be informed these extensions were in place..

they rang a few days later and confirmed the 1st extension, but for the 2nd extension i had to chase them up for confirmation .

I thought there was a mistake when the ESA form arrived, then my logic kicked in and I realised who I was dealing with.
Needless to say my stress levels are now at critical level for me. One is bad, two well. The next few weeks will be interesting.
Thanks for your support. :)

Hello.
Hope you are keeping well.

I had an ESA review last year, medical assessment and was refused. Went through a difficult period in December doing my submission for Reconsideration. There were a few twists and turns but found out in Jan. 17 that I was put back in Support Group. I rang them to chase it a few weeks later. They said they would put it through v. soon. (It is sorted now).

Before I even got my backdated money, I received a letter informing me my DLA was ending and I had to apply for PIP. I am currently doing my PIP application. I just rang for an extension and got one no probs. I cannot do the forms every day. It is too tiring mentally and physically. You can get an extension easily for PIP. Just call them.

Do what you can and follow the advice of the mods. and guides. You can do it!

It seems many people are being reassessed/assessed for both ESA and PIP at the same time. They could do something about it but won't. They don't seem to have a problem sharing info. about applicants in other ways-especially if it means denying a claim.
Hang in there.
:silly:
